Easter

We had a great Easter this year. Saturday we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at Mt. Olive First Baptist and Reese had a blast. They had tons to do: inflatables, hot dogs, Easter bunny, Easter story, and Easter egg hunt. Reese loved the inflatable slide! She didn't love the Easter bunny, however her friend Zoie from school was there and she talked her into going to see him. She looked scared to death, but at least I have a picture of her and the Easter bunny. Reese told me later that she told Zoie that she didn't want to sit by him, but that the bunny did put his hand on her back. Obviously she was very aware of this situation. They told them the Easter story and then it was time to go and hunt eggs. Reese had a blast finding eggs and eating the contents of those eggs. She was posing it up in some pictures... she is a hoot! There is never a dull moment with her.



She loved dying eggs and putting the stickers on them. She also loved her basket from the Easter bunny... since now she wasn't as scared of the Easter bunny as before.


On Sunday we went to church and then we to Teresa & Marty's farm for the 2nd annual Easter Egg Hunt. We had a TON of food and then the kids hunted eggs in the pasture. They had so much fun. Then Reese wanted to go and see the cows. I also got some cute pictures of her by the little creek.



Overall, we had a great Easter and Reese had a blast. She is growing up more and more everyday!

Buncha Monkies

Reese had her first ragball game on Saturday. It was hilarious. She did a great job batting! The first time she hit the ball hard and ran to first base. Then she played on the pitchers mound in the field. She got several balls, but she got frustrated when she didn't get all of the balls. The second time she batted she hit it great and ran straight for the pitchers mound. It was so funny. She didn't do as good in the field the second time. She was getting bored! She looked so cute and like a real ball player!!! When we got in the car I told her she did a great job and she said, " I did?" So she had a blast and she is learning about the rules of baseball!!!
